This report highlights the key achievements during the third year of the National Cancer Audit Collaborating Centre (NATCAN). NATCAN is the home of the ten national cancer audits in England and Wales including bowel, breast (primary and metastatic), kidney, lung, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, oesophago-gastric, ovarian, pancreatic and prostate cancer.
In this report we reflect on our continued efforts to deliver timely, consistent insights into cancer care, highlighting both areas of excellence and opportunities for improvement. This progress reflects the exceptional efforts of our national audit teams and all our partners including professional bodies, clinical teams, data providers, patient representatives, and people with lived experience of cancer, who inform all our work.
The coming year will see us build on our collective achievements, with a clear focus on ensuring audit outputs translate into meaningful improvements in cancer care.
