The National Prostate Cancer Audit (NPCA) publishes risk-adjusted performance indicators of the quality of care received by people diagnosed with prostate cancer. If the performance of a provider for a selected indicator falls outside a pre-specified defined range, it will be flagged as an outlier.
The NATCAN Outlier Policy 2026 is adapted from updated guidance by the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership Ltd (HQIP), published in October 2025.
