The NKCA is part of the National Cancer Audit Collaborating Centre (NATCAN) which is commissioned by the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership, on behalf of NHS England and the Welsh government as part of the National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme (NCAPOP).
Every project within the NCAPOP has been established to address a clinical area (or areas) where healthcare improvement is required, and the common aim of each project is to have a positive impact on patient care. NCAPOP audits publish annual reports to summarise the key impacts the audits have had.
This report summarises the impact of the NKCA to date. Impact has been categorised into highlights, Quality Improvement and stakeholder involvement.
