NOCA State of the Nation Patient and Public Report 2024

The National Ovarian Cancer Audit (NOCA) aims to evaluate the patterns of care and outcomes for women with ovarian cancer in England and Wales, and to support services to improve the quality of care for these women.

The NOCA State of the Nation Patient and Public Report 2024 presents the results for women diagnosed with ovarian cancer during 2021 in England and 2022 in Wales.

The audits specific objectives are to look at:

  1. Increase the proportion of patients receiving timely diagnosis and treatment decisions.
  2. Increase the proportion of patients receiving molecular diagnostics.
  3. Increase the proportion of patients receiving surgery.
  1. Increase the proportion of patients receiving chemotherapy.
  2. Improve rates of survival and reduce variation in survival.
