The NNHLA team is pleased to announce the launch of a Quality Improvement (QI) intervention in October 2025.
The focus of the intervention is on data completeness, as it is recognised that high-quality, complete data is essential to identify where care pathways need improvement.
Objectives and remit for NNHLA QI intervention is to:
- Improve completeness of data submissions from NHS trusts in England
- Enable equitable bench-marking across providers
- Enhance the accuracy of audit reporting.
The NNHLA team will be sharing bespoke feedback to Trusts <50% completeness of staging information in order to support improvement of the quality of data submissions for: Staging (Ann Arbor), Staging (Binet) and the International Prognostic Index (IPI).
The NNHLA team will re-evaluate engagement and Trust performance at 6 months and at one year.
“It is vital that people’s care and experiences are fully understood and measured fairly. Without complete data, important issues may remain hidden, leading to missed opportunities for better treatment and support”. Frank Burroughs, NNHLA Patient and Public Involvement Forum Chair
