At NATCAN, we are proud of the work we do, and even prouder of the people who make it happen. Our multidisciplinary team brings together a wide range of skills and experiences, with a shared commitment to improving cancer care across England and Wales.
We asked some of our colleagues to reflect on their roles and experiences. Here is what they had to say.
“What is your favourite thing about working here?“
Working alongside such hardworking and knowledgeable people and playing a small part in working together to tackle the challenges and identifying opportunities, to ultimately try and bring about positive change for those dealing with a cancer diagnosis and their families.
Vikki Hart, Project Manager for the national audits in non-Hodgkin lymphoma and pancreatic cancer.
“What three words would you use to describe your role?”
The three words that best describe my role are: analytical, problem-solving and translation (of results). I enjoy the challenge associated with each of these elements.
Emily Mayne, Data Scientist for the national audits in kidney and prostate cancer.
We will be adding more voices from across the team, so check back on this page soon so you can hear directly from the people who make NATCAN what it is.
