The National Pancreatic Cancer Audit (NPaCA) determines whether the care received by people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in England and Wales is consistent with current recommended practice and provides information to support healthcare providers, commissioners and regulators improve care.
This second State of the Nation report provides an overview of the patterns of care and outcomes for people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer between 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2022 in England, and 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2023 in Wales.
Findings in the report lead to five recommendations highlighting where improvements in care are needed.
